These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the PineOS mobile application, website, and related services.
By using PineOS, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use PineOS.
PineOS is a wellness and nutrition tracking app that helps users log meals, estimate calories and macronutrients, track water intake, monitor weight, view activity information, set goals, and review progress.
PineOS is designed for general wellness and personal nutrition tracking only. PineOS is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional health services.
You must be at least 13 years old to use PineOS.
If you are under the age required to use digital services in your country, you may only use PineOS with permission from a parent or guardian.
By using PineOS, you confirm that you are allowed to use the app under the laws that apply to you.
You may need to create an account to use certain PineOS features.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

PineOS may provide calorie, macronutrient, weight, water, step, calories burned, and progress information.
Nutrition values, calorie estimates, activity estimates, and progress information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or different from your actual results.
You are responsible for reviewing and confirming meal logs, nutrition estimates, goals, and activity information before relying on them.
You should not rely on PineOS as your only source of nutrition, fitness, or health information.
PineOS is for general wellness and informational purposes only.
PineOS does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency assistance.
You should consult a qualified health professional before making major changes to your diet, exercise routine, weight loss plan, or health routine, especially if you:
If you experience a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.
You may submit or upload content to PineOS, including meal photos, food descriptions, meal logs, weight entries, goals, preferences, and support messages.
You remain responsible for the content you submit.
By submitting content, you grant PineOS a limited right to use, process, store, and display that content as needed to provide and improve the app.
You must not upload content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, misleading, or infringes the rights of others.
PineOS may connect with Apple Health if you give permission.
Apple Health access is optional and controlled by you through iOS permissions.
With your permission, PineOS may read selected Apple Health data such as steps, calories burned or active energy, and body weight.
With your permission, PineOS may write body weight entries to Apple Health.
PineOS does not write steps, calories burned, active energy, workouts, meals, dietary energy, calories consumed, protein, carbohydrates, fats, or other nutrition data to Apple Health.
You can change Apple Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or your device settings.
PineOS may offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases.
Purchases made through the App Store are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s payment terms and policies.
Subscription pricing, billing periods, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are managed through your Apple Account.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings.
We do not control Apple’s billing, refund, or subscription management systems.
PineOS may offer free trials, discounts, or promotional access.
Trial and promotional terms may vary and may be changed or discontinued at any time.
Unless cancelled before the end of a trial period, a subscription may automatically renew and be charged through your Apple Account according to the terms shown at the time of purchase.
You may request deletion of your account inside the app or by contacting support@pineos.co.
Deleting your account may permanently remove your profile, logs, goals, saved meals, progress data, and other account information.
Some information may be retained where required or permitted for legal, security, billing, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes.
Your use of PineOS is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how PineOS collects, uses, stores, and protects your information.
By using PineOS, you acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy.
We aim to keep PineOS available and working reliably, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
PineOS may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
Some features may depend on your device, operating system, internet connection, permissions, third-party services, or subscription status.
PineOS may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, payment processing, food data, barcode data, image processing, and other app functions.
We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, platforms, or content that we do not control.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
PineOS, including its design, branding, logos, software, features, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by PineOS or its licensors.
You may use PineOS only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless we give you written permission otherwise.
You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on PineOS or any part of the app.
If you send us feedback, ideas, suggestions, or requests, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to you.
We may use feedback to improve PineOS, develop features, fix issues, or update the app.
PineOS is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, availability, and security.
We do not guarantee that PineOS will meet your expectations, achieve your goals, produce specific results, or be free from errors.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PineOS and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, service interruption, personal injury, or other losses arising from your use of or inability to use PineOS.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to PineOS will not exceed the amount you paid to use PineOS in the three months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold PineOS and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms of Use or PineOS will be handled by the courts located in New South Wales, Australia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
